Ultimate Guide to THM Meal Planning
“What’s for dinner?” is probably the most common question heard in my house. That, and, “What on earth is that smell?” (We have a baby and a toddler and a 7-year-old boy in the house).
Meal planning can be hard. Seriously. I’ve spent more than my fair share of time scrambling to find meal ideas, pre-made menus, and recipes. When my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac disease, I stared into our full pantry, then our full refrigerator, then our full freezer, and thought, “Huh…we’ve got nothing to eat!”
Thankfully, I found the Trim Healthy Mama way of eating, and I realized that we can eat healthy, delicious foods that would benefit the whole family. We could eat gluten-free, I could easily make a few swaps to follow THM and lose the baby weight, and we could do it without me having to cook three separate meals at dinner time (it’s all about the side dishes).

This is how I keep food on the table, even with five kids (one of whom has Celiac disease), and me eating THM-style while on an anti-inflammation diet – and yes, I only cook one meal for the whole family! Having this huge list of meals and ideas has definitely saved me over the past few months! I hope this is a helpful resource for you when you need meal ideas.

Hi
For some reason I can’t subscribe to your blog. I’m glad I found it but I keep getting the error message that says my email address is not valid. And I don’t know why. It’s the only one I have and I’ve checked out and retyped it many times. Could you add me? Or let me know what to do? Ty!
Yes! It’s a weird Facebook glitch – if you’re coming over from Facebook, it says your email address is invalid. If you open a new browser window, it’s fine. It’s so random, I’m sorry! I’m trying to get it fixed, but you’re all set for now. Thanks!
I just wanted to thank you for posting about the THM system. I am also Gluten Free, so this was an amazing find for me. Thank you Google! Keep it up. I can’t wait to read through all your posts and try some of your meal plans.
Hi Stephanie, I’m so glad you found me! My daughter has Celiac disease, and honestly, Trim Healthy Mama has made it so much easier on us. I hope you find some meal ideas you like here!
I’m trying to subscribe to your site but it says it’s not active, even when I open in a browser. Any ideas? Thanks!
I’m really sorry; I can’t figure out what’s wrong! Can I ask if you’re willing to check your email for a confirmation? Maybe it worked but just didn’t look like it?
Hi Jen,
Im wanting to use your menus but I dont want everything that is on it. Is there a way that I can change things around on it? Like on the week one of cheap and easy I dont want the fried eggs over spinach. Can i take that out and add something different? Im not super computer literate, so its kinda foreign to me…LOL
Thanks
Jill
Hi Jill! Aside from copying down only the recipes you want, or copying and pasting them, I’m not sure how to do it. You’re definitely free to just use the recipes as inspiration, though, and tweak them all to suit your tastes!
Hi, I purchased your 4 month package of meal planning. I noticed you have recipes for a crock pot. I got rid of mine when I bought an insta pot and I am not sure how to accommodate the change. Any suggestions?
Lorrie
I have a husband going through a very rough time with his GI system, and needing anti inflammatory meals. Am I correct in assuming, based on your post here, that all of your meals listed are anti inflammatory? I’m new to this so not quite sure what to look for, and what to make or avoid for him. Thanks so much for all your hard work here!
Hello! No, I’m sorry, I mentioned that I follow an anti-inflammatory diet but not all THM recipes are anti-inflammatory.
