Low-Carb Peanut Butter Shake
The History of the Peanut Butter Blizzard
This Low-Carb Peanut Butter Shake – or as I think of it, a Peanut Butter Blizzard – has been made, and loved, for years. In 2014, a few years after I'd found THM had been steadily blogging away, I found a blog called Raising Godly Daughters. The blog is no longer operational, but at the time, the author had posted a peanut butter milkshake that inspired me to create this blizzard.
This has been a long-running recipe in my family and with many of my coaching clients – it's an all-time favorite, and we've enjoyed it more times than I can count! It's a slimming, satisfying, delicious treat. I'm not ashamed to admit that I've had it for breakfast probably equally as often as I've had it for dessert!
I made this so often, and for my kids so many times, a bulk mix seemed like a time-saving necessity! I came up with this FP Bulk Mix to make it easier to make – and a printable version of the OG recipe down below!
Special Ingredients
I use THM's Super Sweet, THM's Pristine Whey Protein Powder, THM's MCT Oil, and THM Mineral Salt in this recipe.
Sometimes if I'm out of ingredients, I use these Amazon products instead: Jay Robb Protein Powder and MCT Oil.
