This looks so doable! a menu with whole foods, no special ingredients, works for THM, Paleo, or Whole 30!

I did something new. And I hope you like it. In fact, I hope you really like it, because I seriously love it and I can’t wait to get started with April’s menu!

You ready?

April’s full menu is…clean. Spring reminds me of new beginnings, renewing commitments, and cleaning house. Since I get so many requests for different types of menus, I worked really hard to come up with a monthly menu that is made with whole foods – no special ingredients, no super-complicated recipes, no “franken-foods” as the Trim Healthy Mama sisters call them. Just real food. And the few things on the list that aren’t completely clean (like mayonnaise), can easily be made at home. And THAT means that, although I am not Paleo or Whole 30, this menu has options so that if you want to try a Whole 30, you can try it this month! If you don’t, add a little rice or beans to your E meals and we’ll call it good.

If you are following a Paleo Lifestyle or a Whole 30, there are a few notes for you on these pages. If you’re wondering what in the world Trim Healthy Mama is all about, it’s a very healthy, balanced approach to eating that has resulted in easy, sustainable weight loss for me (and thousands upon thousands of others!). You can read about my Trim Healthy Mama journey here

I’m very open to requests – as I said, it took me awhile, but I had a lot of fun putting this together and I’m excited to have my family focused on eating well this month! Not that they don’t in other months…you get pretty great nutrition from eating the Trim Healthy Mama way, but this menu is pretty pure and wholesome and the recipes are delicious so I’m extra excited!

The printable packet for April is more like a free mini ebook at 11 pages long. This packet includes instructions, the meal plan, recipe notes, and weekly shopping lists. The best way for me to get the information to you without crashing my website is to email it to you, so if you’re interested in this resource I’ll send it to you via the form below. 🙂

  4. Hi Jen,
The menu that I downloaded have Dinner menu for the whole month but only a handful menu for breakfast and lunch. Is that a typo?
Plus the recipe notes starts from Day 7, opposed to Day 1. Is that correct?

    Thank you.

    1. Hi Maddy! I think I replied to an email from you on the same issue. 🙂 The instructions explain that repeating 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches allow for simplicity, savings, and less time in the kitchen without getting bored, so that’s why the breakfasts and lunches are repeated while the dinners are unique. The recipe links are numbered 1-30, but the special directions to make the meals THM-compatible are not necessary for each meal. The notes say, “Day 7, Day 10”, etc, but the other days can be made as-written and don’t need the special notes. I hope that helps!

  5. I’m so glad I found your thm/Whole30 menu! I’ve done Whole30 for several months and lost weight but it was slowly creeping back on. I have wanted to try thm but didn’t really want to go back to eating some of the foods I learned to avoid on Whole30. I can’t wait to get started! Thanks so much!

    1. Thanks, Marty, I hope you like it! This is one of my favorite menus because I feel like I get a lot of great, healthy foods without getting sick of veggies. 😉
