The Best Free Workouts for Busy Moms
I’m not a big fan of working out, but I’m a fan of being healthy. I’m also a big fan of free. I’ve become a connoisseur of free workouts, and I thought you all might like to see what I’ve been using. I already have a compilation of the best quick and effective exercise programs, so this list is of the best FREE workouts for busy moms!
Here are the best free workouts for busy moms, with a few notes:
Fitness Blender –
Fitness Blender’s videos are on YouTube, and they have an excellent variety of free workouts. Many of them fit into the Trim Healthy Mama-recommended way of exercising (which has REALLY worked for me!), and you can get a great workout, even with their shorter videos. The only modesty issues (for those concerned about it) is an occasional sports bra, but most videos feature the host in a long tank top. The variety of workouts is HUGE! I usually choose a HIIT workout or a strength training workout that’s 15-30 minutes long.
Bikini Body Mommy –
Bikini Body Mommy has four great, 90-day challenges. These are available on her website or on YouTube, all free, but if you want to pay an extra 1.99 (which I think is a great deal!) you can get access to ab workouts, as well. Whether or not you are trying to get a “bikini body” you can benefit from a quick series of effective exercises that you can fit into your day (think 15-25 minutes per day). I really like her honesty and how you can see that she’s struggling to complete the exercises sometimes – she’s a real mom, trying to get healthy, and you can do it with her! You can also see the huge difference in her between Days 1 and 90. She’s very modest, but there is a cartoon drawing of a woman in a bikini on each video. Towards the end, there are bikini shots and fewer clothes the more weight she loses.
LionsGate’s BeFit –
LionsGate’s BeFit has an amazingly comprehensive YouTube Channel, featuring Jillian Michaels, Denise Austin, and tons more. You can pretty much find any kind of workout here, at any time length, and I’m still kind of amazed that it’s all on YouTube and all for free! The modesty levels here really depend on which workout you choose. They even have workout programs available (30 days, 90 days, etc), and the quality and variety is amazing.
Do You Yoga –
Do You Yoga has lots of free yoga videos and options available (again, modesty varies). Full confession time – I hate yoga. Hate. It. You could offer me a million dollars, and – well, I’d probably do it for a million dollars. But I wouldn’t do it for ten dollars, that’s for sure. I have a friend who’s a yoga master (I know that’s not the correct term) and I honestly don’t know how she can stand it, much less enjoy it so much. But anyway, don’t let my discrimination against yoga discourage you. If you like yoga, or want to try it, or are one of those bendy people who can do yoga, you can check this out for free.
Those are my top free workout choices – now you have no excuses! Well, maybe you do, but you shouldn’t let them stop you from exercising. If you are cheap frugal like me, and like to workout for free, please share your favorite resources in the comments – I’d love to hear about it!

I am with you my friend on yoga. I went to a class years ago and hated it. Last year I went to 6 classes – no, still can’t stand it and I am done. It does not relax me; it does nothing but make me wish I were not there. 🤨
