Heat & Eat Fast THM-Friendly Meals
Do you ever think Trim Healthy Mama requires a lot of time? I promise you – it doesn’t have to! These fast THM recipes can make it so easy to throw together a delicious, filling, last minute THM meal.
If you feel busy, tired, or overwhelmed, you can take a breath! I’ve made it my mission to help busy mamas with easy, quick, THM-friendly meals. I put together a printable list of quick and easy heat and eat meals to help you out on busy nights.
These meals rely on Rotisserie Chickens…mainly because you can stretch them to feed a family and the price of rotisserie chickens at Costco hasn’t gone up (yet…but I hope they don’t!).
There are other frugal ways to make this meal plan work if you don’t have a Costco membership! I hunt for boneless, skinless chicken breasts on sale and bake them on a baking sheet. I’ll shred half, cut some into cubes, and keep a few whole, then freeze the whole batch. Buying rotisserie chickens or pre-cooked chickens can definitely save time, but it can definitely work to prep your chicken ahead!

- Chicken Alfredo (p.s. – if you have trouble finding an on-plan alfredo sauce recipe, I LOVE this super easy, fast recipe from The Pioneer Woman. You’ll just want to skip the regular pasta noodles she uses)
- Mexican Quinoa Salad
- Loaded Sweet Potatoes
- Chicken Quesadillas
All of these ideas are very, very quick (some just take a few minutes!) and you can scale the ingredients to suit your family size. I have a full, free printable for you at the bottom of this post that gives you the ingredients for each recipe that you’ll just combine, heat, season, and serve!
