Hello there:)
What do you find that you eat for meals and such to stay on a small budget? Appreciate the help!
Hi Ashley! We eat all THM meals. I buy roasts, chicken, and pork on sale and stock up. Keeping those meats on hand, along with baking blend and staples like rice and seasonings, lets me make most THM recipes.
Hi Jen! I love this. I’ve been on THM for about 4 1/2 years now at about 95 – 100% and LOVE it. I used to plan my menu first, but now I do like you and look at the sales first. I’m in an expensive food area with only ONE grocery store and a small Walmart that doesn’t even have a deli, etc. Because of this, I’m struggling to keep my food budget down. I’m only buying for myself and my daughter (20) and we spend as much as you do. I can’t get Zaycon here, Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy your blog and recipes!
Thank you so much, Lisa! I’m glad this is helpful! It does really depend on where you live. I spent a lot less on groceries when we lived in Kansas, and a lot more when we lived in California.
Thank you so much for your meal plans and shopping hauls! We are a tight budget and family of 6 (sometimes 8…depends on how many foster kids we have at a time). I really do appreciate your time and energy you put into helping others!! God Bless!
