That’s a tough one! The Teacher’s Planner has a monthly spread that’s great for a month-at-a-glance, but there really isn’t a place to keep track of your personal stuff. On the other hand, I can never fit lessons into the Life Planner, so I just have both. Sorry I’m not more help!

I am a teacher but can’t decide if I want to purchase the teacher planner or the life planner. I type my lesson plans but do tend to write what I’m doing each day on a sticky note anyways. I use my planner for EVERYTHING so I really want something for school and home. What are your thoughts? Please help me decide! 🙂

Well, we homeschool year-round, but we still only do 36 weeks of school. It’s just that we spread them out differently throughout the year than the regular school districts. So I have plenty of room to lesson plan with 36 weeks. PLUS (I know no one cares about this, but I’m excited) we canceled a vacation this year so we are three weeks ahead in our school year and I’m actually going to take a good, three week summer break with no school this year, which is a fun change for us. Anyway (sorry for rambling), in past years when I’ve run out of space I’ve done two school weeks per page spread. I just drew a line horizontally through the colored boxes and fit 2 weeks into one. I hope that helps a little!

I used a life planner for a long time, but I switched over to Corie Clark’s Personal Planner this year and it’s the longest I’ve been happy with a planner. Seriously, I can’t imagine doing without it. Actually, that’s why I like this one. I am the complete opposite of an artsy type, so I love that this one already has pretty colors and designs so I can just…write in it. Lol!
